SYSCOM is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with at least 5 years of expertise in COBOL, CICS, TSO, and JCL . This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications to support our business operations.
Responsibilities:
Write, maintain, and optimize COBOL and CICS programs.
Create and manage JCL for batch job processing.
Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Perform other related duties within the scope of the role as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with COBOL, CICS, TSO, and JCL .
Familiarity with CA-IDEAL and CA Datacomm is an asset.
Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
This is an opportunity to work on established systems in a stable and supportive environment.
Location: 2 days a week onsite in College Park, MD and 3 days a week work from home.
Duration: 1 year, with extensions annually possible
