Are you a physician seeking a flexible and impactful opportunity to provide care to residents of skilled nursing facilities? We're looking for a dedicated physician to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This mostly remote position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of residents while maintaining a flexible schedule.

About the Role:

As a 1099 Physician, you'll provide professional medical services to residents of skilled nursing facilities, adhering to all applicable facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations (including Title 42, Section 483.75(i) of the Code of Federal Regulations and any relevant state regulations). You'll serve as a valuable medical consultant, advising the facility administrator on resident care programs, medical equipment, and staffing needs.

What You'll Do:

Provide medical and procedural consultation for residents.
Advise the facility administrator on service enhancements and future resident care programs.
Be available to the facility 24/7 for emergencies.
Attend monthly QA and/or QAPI meetings (at least 10 months per year).
Assist in developing clinical pathways to improve resident care.
Support facility marketing efforts as requested.
Collaborate with other attending physicians to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.
What You'll Bring:

Medical degree and appropriate licensure.
Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric populations is highly desirable.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
